Affordability

Own a racehorse for less than you might think, you can race a horse
with Action Thoroughbreds from as little as $37 a week. It is a myth
that owning a racehorse is ‘The Sport of Kings’. Sure a lot of wealthy individuals own racehorses but these days a growing number of horses
are now raced in partnerships. Take for instance the winner of this year’s Premier 2YO race the GOLDEN SLIPPER, it was won by a horse called
SEBRING which was sold in partnership in November 2007 and now has amassed over $2,500,000 in prizemoney!

By selling shares in each horse this enables individuals to get involved in
well bred horses for a very reasonable upfront cost and they are able to
share all of the ongoing costs of upkeep between the partnerships.
Action Thoroughbred GUARANTEES that your ongoing standard costs of
having a racehorse managed, trained and prepared to race will not cost
any more than $150 per month per 5% shareholding until 2010. What this does not cover is any Major Race acceptances or unusually large vet bills.
So as you can see the cost of owning a racehorse is well within the reach
of most.
